Though the amount of time needed to plan for the renovation largely depends on a number of factors, such as the size of your space and the nature of your location, 1 to 2 months of advanced notice is usually sufficient.
Now, if you seek for a more in-depth discussion with regards to your work requests, we recommend at least 3 months of advanced notice.
Can Kobo Design help me search for an office/shop location?
No. We do not offer services related to office/shop search.
However, we can refer you to reliable property agent in Singapore.
I have to return my office/shop space to the owner. Who will bear the cost of reinstatement?
Normally, the tenant bears the cost, but we encourage you to check your tenancy agreement for precise details.
How much will a renovation typically cost?
We appologize that we cannot give you a definite number here, as the cost of renovation will be determined on a client-by-client basis.
What measures will be taken on reduce the amount of noise and dust released during the renovation process?
Renovation scheduled for weekdays may sometimes be a source of disruption for other tenants in the same vicinty.
If this were the case, we will work during the weekends or overnight to minimize such inconvenience.
Kobo Design will directly seek permission from your building management to schedule off-hour renovations.
Can I make a request for custom-made furniture?
Yes. We will design, produce, and install custom-made furniture upon your request.
Will Kobo Design be open to post-renovaion inquiries?
If you have any questions or concerns after the renovation, you are welcome to contact us.
